This 4-story, 116,000 square-foot tower added 67 patient beds to St. Jude Medical Centers existing 309-bed hospital. The new tower Included 14 neonatal intensive care unit beds, 20 intensive care unit beds and 33 post-partum beds in the new Women’s & Infants’ Department which also includes, 9 Labor/Delivery/Recovery Rooms, Patient Rooms, Ante-Partum Rooms, two C-Section Operating Rooms, 14 Bassinet Neonatal, and Intensive Care Unit. This facility added many features to this leading Orange County hospital which include state-of-the-art 36 bay Emergency Department with Digital Radiography capabilities, The Basement Level includes Cardiac Catheterization department with four Catheterization Labs and 16 Preparation/Recovery Patient Bays and a central utility plant.
