The project involved the decommissioning and removal of an existing CT scanner, along with comprehensive suite modifications to support the installation of a new Siemens SOMATOM go.Open Pro scanner at the Providence Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment in Orange, CA. This state-of-the-art scanner incorporates advanced AI technology to streamline auto-contouring, reduce variability, and provide a consistent foundation for therapy planning—delivering results in a significantly reduced timeframe.
OC&M led the effort by negotiating the contract with the general contractor, managing construction activities and scheduling, overseeing the procurement, installation, and commissioning of all owner-furnished medical and IT equipment, and maintaining full responsibility for the overall project budget.
