This project was a 12,600 square foot build-out of 20 patient rooms and support spaces for intermediate care patients, on the second floor of the St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA. Each patient room included private restrooms, ICU beds, Amico headwalls, medical gases, patient lifts, nurse call systems, and patient monitors. 2 of the patient rooms are isolation rooms. Support spaces for the unit include 1 main nurse station and 2 satellite nurse stations, 2 medication rooms with 6 Pyxis medication dispensing stations, a nutrition room, 4 linen rooms, and an equipment storage room.

OC&M was responsible for negotiating the GMP contract with the general contractor, managing the construction and schedule, the procurement, installation and commissioning of all owner-provided medical and IT equipment, the complete project budget, and coordinating CDPH licensing.
